Stretching and flapping her strong wings
this is the eve of our youngest bird
preparing to fly far from the nest.
Across the country
the hallowed halls of law are ready to take our bird
on her chosen path; her next life steps.
I know that as she embarks
on this journey that our little bird will
take with her the lessons from the flowers.
She will persevere and grow
Silently displaying her inner beauty and strength
She will reach towards the sun, hold fast during storms
and live life fully in bloom.
Fly free little bird. Enjoy, and remember the lessons from the flowers.

My mother bid me goodbye with the same words, a few months back, when I left for college. Your post is beautifully crafted and very well written. After reading this I realised how much I miss my home and my mother…great work!😊

This is so sweet. I’m sure it’s not easy to let go, but the little bird is well prepared & will fly with grace ♥

I bet the two of you have been having a great time together.
Im doing pretty good…tears and a bit sad for sure because its a weird transition. But also so, so happy for her.
She has had a tough road and made some choices that made her life a bit more challenging, but she pulled it together and grabbed that tiger by the tail and whoa…just turned it all around. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Go kid!
Plus, I truly believe that we will talk more with her living in a different state then when she is here.
I hope you are feeling well and are enjoying those beautiful ocean sunsets as much as you can. ❤️

I wish your little birdie all the best.
My daughter is currently visiting me, but when she returns to New York next week, she will be moving into her first apartment.
How are you dealing with this big ove. I hope you are fine. I know it can be stresseful.
Wishing her the best.
