We Stand Tall to Honor Her

We stand tall to honor

her strength and support.

Selflessly she gave of herself

knowing that one day

her clan would be confident

to stand on their own

fly from the nest and understand

that it takes a village to bind

the world in peace and love.

You are amazing! Im glad you had a strong mom, and that you also have an understanding that some dont have that in their lives. Here’s to the village of women and all we do to raise independent, compassionate children. ❤

I love to apply this to the memory of my mother; however, she did not trust us into the care of a village. She was a take control woman! How fortunate to have had stability which did not require the village. I sorrow for those who do not have that kind of mother. So today as we celebrate women, I throw in my hat to all the mothers, very few of which are taking the day off!
