Wisdom from a Lighthouse

Ever present, overlooking and faithful

to the waters and to those who sail upon it.

I am a strong beacon atop an ever-changing cliff.

Draw from me my strength and steadiness.

Smile at the beauty that surrounds me.

Wow, I love hearing this story. Its sounds so storied to grow up near the foghorn of a lighthouse. Thanks for sharing! I love when we drive up-north to Lake Superior and see the lighthouses. Have a great day!

Thanks for triggering the memory. Having grown up near the shores of Lake Erie, I fondly remember foggy nights and the sound of the fog horns coming from the lighthouse. Lots of fog but no lighthouses here in Waller County, Texas.
